My dealer says syntheic oil is actually BETTER than regular oil . Â so today i went to my dealership (luther hopkins honda, ) and had them do the change .  the SRI sounds sweeter and sweeter each 100 miles i put on, i’ve been tempted to perhaps to a header change or exhaust but we’ll see how hard it is to do . I ride a Harley and I noticed the same improvement in the transmission shift feel as well as reduced gear noise when i switched to Amsoil . Â so it seems my si may now be running at 100% . would it be safe to use it in mine or not? and is it around the time for my transmission fluid to be changed? I havent had that done yet and I bought the car when it was new . Use some mobil 1 10w30 if it doesnt freeze where youare . Go for it! Synthetic oil will not harm your engine but i tamaroff honda southfield mit might not make sense to start using it at this point . it wont harm your engine because in my mind oil is oil as long as it lubs your parts your good but if your not useing it already i wouldnt change to it .
